These Terms and Conditions (“Terms” or “T&C”) govern access to and use of the ID.PHOTOS website, applications, and related services (collectively, the “Service”). Accessing or using the Service in any way constitutes your full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions. If you do not accept them in full, you must not use the Service.
ID.PHOTOS provides tools to create, validate, and process identification-style photographs and related outputs based on user-provided images and selected document or jurisdiction requirements. Features may include automated checks, formatting, and optional paid add-ons (such as enhanced processing or delivery) as offered on the site at the time of use.
You represent and warrant that you have all necessary rights, consents, and legal authority to submit any content, images, metadata, and personal information you provide through the Service (collectively, “Your Data”), including permission from any person depicted or identified in Your Data where required by law.
By submitting Your Data and using the Service, you grant ID.PHOTOS and its sub-contractors and service providers (each acting only on ID.PHOTOS’s instructions and subject to appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations) a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, store, copy, transmit, and create derivative works from Your Data solely to the extent reasonably necessary to provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service and to complete the processing you request. That processing may be carried out programmatically (automated systems, APIs, and tooling) and/or with human discretion (manual review, quality checks, or support staff), as ID.PHOTOS deems appropriate for the Service. Examples include formatting, validation, delivery of outputs, fraud prevention, backups, support, and compliance with legal obligations. This license ends when Your Data is deleted in accordance with these Terms and our retention practices, except where retention is required by law.
ID.PHOTOS does not claim ownership of Your Data; you remain responsible for it and for obtaining any third-party permissions needed to use the Service.
Automated checks and guidance are provided to help align outputs with commonly published specifications. Government and issuing authorities make the final decision on whether a photo is acceptable. ID.PHOTOS does not guarantee approval by any embassy, passport office, employer, or other third party.
Fees, billing, refunds, and any subscription or credit rules are those shown at checkout or in product descriptions at the time of purchase. Failure to pay valid charges may result in suspension of paid features. Taxes may apply based on your location and applicable law.
The Service, its software, branding, and content (excluding your uploads and your outputs as between you and ID.PHOTOS) are owned by ID.PHOTOS or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal or internal business use in line with these Terms.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, ID.PHOTOS disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ID.PHOTOS and its suppliers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Aggregate liability for direct damages shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid to ID.PHOTOS for the Service in the twelve (12) months before the claim or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars (USD 100), except where liability cannot be limited under applicable law.
ID.PHOTOS may suspend or terminate access to the Service for breach of these Terms or for operational, legal, or security reasons. You may stop using the Service at any time.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your full acceptance of the revised Terms and Conditions, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
ID.PHOTOS respects privacy and limits collection to what is needed to operate the Service. This may include:
